Privacy
Your photos are for your listing.
As a guest, your saved drafts and listing photos stay on this device. When you sign in, ReShrink also backs up your saved items, Clearout Packs, and listing photos to your private account. Photos are sent to our vision providers only when you ask ReShrink to analyze or prepare them.
What is processed
The photos you select, a detected or entered barcode, the listing details returned by the scan, and account-level records of free or paid scan access. Do not upload photos containing people, addresses, serial numbers, financial details, or anything unrelated to the item.
Where it goes
ReShrink uses fal for primary item analysis and automatic background cleanup, and Replicate only if the item analysis falls back. ReShrink asks fal not to retain request inputs or outputs in request history. A cleaned image file can remain available from fal for up to one hour so this browser can retrieve it, then it expires. A fallback provider may retain prediction data briefly for service operation. If you create an account, Supabase stores your email address, saved items, Clearout Packs, email preferences, scan usage, and Clearout access records. Resend processes the account and product emails ReShrink sends you. Vercel hosts ReShrink and processes basic request, aggregate usage, and performance data through Web Analytics and Speed Insights so we can operate and improve the site. If you later connect eBay and choose to publish, eBay receives the listing details and photos you approve; ReShrink stores the connection token in encrypted form and syncs listing and sale status. Supabase also stores short-lived request counters under an opaque identifier to prevent abuse; raw network addresses are not stored there.
Payments
Stripe processes Clearout Pack checkout and payment information. ReShrink does not receive or store your full card number. Stripe may process your email address, payment method details, billing details, device and fraud-prevention data, and transaction information under Stripe's privacy terms. ReShrink stores the purchase amount and currency, payment status, Checkout and PaymentIntent identifiers, payment and access dates, the associated Clearout identifier, and the account's entitlement and scan-usage records so it can provide access, prevent duplicate charges, answer payment questions, and protect the service.
Guest and account storage
Without an account, saved drafts and photos remain in this browser's local storage and private browser database until you remove the items or clear this site's data. When you sign in, ReShrink privately backs up your items, photos, and Clearout Packs so they can follow you across devices. Signing out clears the account's browser copies from that device.
Retention and deletion
Account data stays available while your account is active. You can permanently delete the account and its cloud-saved listings, photos, Clearout Packs, active entitlement, scan-usage records, email preferences, recorded email events, and any saved eBay connection from the Account page. ReShrink attempts to close an open Checkout and revoke a connected marketplace token before deleting the account. ReShrink may retain a transaction ledger with the account link removed, including Stripe transaction identifiers, price, currency, status, and timestamps, when reasonably needed for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or other legal obligations. Stripe may retain its own payment and customer records under its policies and applicable law. Short-lived anti-abuse counters expire automatically. Analysis and prepared-image files follow the provider time limits described above.
Your responsibility
AI can misidentify products, wear, or value. Review every field, confirm the physical condition yourself, and remove private identifiers before publishing a listing.
